NFT with a higher purpose
Our mission is to empower faith-inspired artists, sports personalities and cultural icons to create on chain NFT experiences whilst giving back to communities through a strong philanthropic dimension, and our vision is for a world where the creative arts, sports and culture of communities can flourish in an economically viable manner, and these traditions are able to create ripple effects of benefit the world over.
Faith-Inspired Creative Industry
The arts, culture and sports scene in 2021 spans across the literary, comic, art, film, music, theatre, sports and collectibles industries. Here at Funoon we believe that storing immutable details of transactions and ownership on the blockchain will solve issues such as provenance and authenticity of these art forms and will also spur on novel ideas of the collectability of these items.
We’re based in the UK and the UAE, and this global reach gives us an appreciation of the artistic, cultural, and sporting interests of a diverse group of people from these regions.
We aim to be all-inclusive in our approach, and our vision is of a world in which artists can gain recurring revenues, whilst giving back to communities through the Funoon Foundation.
We believe the future of distributed ledger technologies is multi-chain, and as such, whilst we have selected the Binance Smart Chain for our initial platform, there will be increasing amounts of interoperability as time goes on. For this reason, Funoon will provide cross-chain functionality in 2022.
